hi Karen I sorry to hear about your condition, do you receive unemployment benefits? Even if DSS say they have no funds, they should have emergency funds available and usually it is a one time only deal. Also you may want to check with the local churches, The American Red Cross, and some type of community action program that do assist people in your situation. I don't know what state you live in, but usually if you have small children the electric company will not turn off your electric, or if you have health problems or a elderly person living with you, I hope this helps you Karen. hello,I am a 45 year old female who would like to continue my education. I work full-time and I was attending college part-time. Like most of us, I cannot afford part-time tuition.
